Expanded Polyethylene Foam sheet is a closed cell sheet foam made from Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE #4). LDPE is expanded between 30-40 times its original volume to provide sheets from 1mm to 30mm which provide exceptional compression resistance, insulation for a relatively small amount of PE by mass.
