Environmental Commitment

Nulon seeks to lessen its environmental impact in measurable ways by doing things that make a real difference. We are focused on real actions inside our factory that have real impact, like: Reducing, Re-use and Recycling, some examples of this are:

• Nulon’s landfill footprint is surprisingly only two kerbside rubbish bins each week! All other manufacturing waste and packaging materials are recycled. One hundred percent of our process waste plastic is recycled, most of it is reused on site by us as "recycled Content" in our products. Some product lines contain between 30% and up to 50% recycled content. This is achieved through waste separation and recycling of all paper & cardboard, plastic, and packaging materials.
  
  
• We use other manufacturers recycled waste material each month to increase the recycled content in our own products. Recycled content eliminates over 5000kg of new plastic being added to the environment each month.
  
  
• All our products are shipped in 100% recyclable packaging. Most of our packaging is cardboard such as cartons & reels. One hundred percent of our cardboard is un-bleached and has various levels of recycled content (we use non-virgin cardboard where ever possible).

ALL our products are manufactured from a single plastic type - Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE #4) which is recyclable at soft plastics bins found at supermarkets nationwide or commercially by companies like PACT and RECLAIM. We have discontinued products like Kraft paper on bubble wrap as these products are NOT recyclable and NOT environmentally friendly.
